It has been three years since you passed away. You were my rock, the only constant in my life, for 15 years. Very independent, intelligent, sweet, and loving...I miss you terribly still. You went everywhere with me. People who met you say you looked like Falcor the Luck Dragon in a movie called The Neverending Story. You thought if you were only still enough, you could finally catch that squirrel in the backyard...you even climbed part way up the tree to try and get to him! You patrolled for flies and mosquitoes, snapping them up when they came near. I wish you were still sleeping on the pillow next to mine. I miss your head hanging out the window of the car, your little face looking in the back door at me when I came home at night, and your lightning fast lap around the house after I let you in. I know God has his arms around you and is taking care of you...I can take comfort in that. I can't wait to be with you again, baby girl. I love you so much.
